King of Tokyo

Play as a giant monster and fight to dominate Tokyo, earning fame, healing up, or smashing your rivals with a roll of the dice.

Setup

Each player picks a monster card and places it in front of them with the health marker set to 10.
Place the victory point markers on space 0 of the track.
Shuffle the power card deck and reveal 3 cards in the market.
Set up the 6 special dice and the dice cup in the center of the table.
Decide who goes first and declare the Tokyo zone empty.

On your turn, roll the 6 dice up to three times, keeping the ones you want, then apply the results.

Claws

Attack all monsters outside Tokyo (or the one inside, if that's you)

Hearts

Heal damage (only if you're not in Tokyo)

Energy

Gain energy cubes to buy power cards

Numbers (1, 2, 3)

Score victory points if you roll three or more matching

If you attack and no one occupies Tokyo, you move in and immediately score 1 victory point.
The monster attacked inside Tokyo can choose to stay or flee after taking damage.
Being inside Tokyo grants extra points at the start of your turn but prevents you from healing.

Buy cards with energy to gain permanent or one-time abilities that bend the basic rules.

20 victory points: The first player to reach 20 victory points wins
Last monster standing: Whoever remains the only monster alive if all others are eliminated wins
