Setup

  • Shuffle the deck of cards and place it in the middle of the table.

  • Each player starts with 4 deck cards and 5 starting cards in their hand.

  • Each player receives their bottle tokens to mark the bottled wines.

Rules

  1. 1

Each turn has two phases: first he draws cards from the central deck and then he can take up to 3 actions.

  2. 2

Harvest: Draw 2 cards from the center deck. Winemaking: Drop grape cards into your workspace, apply a process card (fermentation, fining, or aging), or play a special card against an opponent. Bottled: If you have the right combination of cards, bottle a wine or cava.

  3. 3

To bottle a wine you need to have the right grape cards plus the time cards that simulate fermentation. Bottling is completed by discarding star cards.

  4. 4

Special cards allow you to sabotage opponents: Night Frost forces an opponent to discard grapes, Appellation of Origin protects your wine from attacks, and Sommelier allows you to draw a specific card from the discard.

Victory conditions

  • The first player to bottle 2 wines and 1 cava wins
