Setup
Shuffle the deck of cards and place it in the middle of the table.
Each player starts with 4 draw cards and 5 starting cards in their hand.
Each player receives bottle tokens to mark the bottled wines.
STRUCTURE OF THE TURN
At the beginning of the turn, draw 1 card (from the deck or from the market; if you draw from the market, replace it with a card from the deck). Then you can do up to 2 actions, repeated or different. If you have less than 3 cards at the end of your turn, draw from the deck until you have 3.
ACTIONS AVAILABLE
Play grape
Drop all grape cards from a wine into your boot in one go
Play time
Add 1 time card to a boot that already has grapes placed on it
Play special
Play a special card and apply its effect; then discard it
Bottle
Discard stars and complete the wine or cava (see conditions)
Discard and steal
Discard 1 card from your hand and draw 1 card from the deck
BOTTLING CONDITIONS
To bottle you must have the required grape and time cards in your boot, then discard cards that add up to the required stars.
Wine
2 stars for bottling
Dig
3 stars for bottling
When bottling, discard all cards in the boot (grapes, weather, and stars) and flip the boot card over to reveal the bottle. When bottling the first cava, take a cava card from the center and place it on the boot.
REPLACEMENT OF TIME WITH STARS
You can discard grape cards from your hand that add up to 3 stars or more and use them as a time card. Choose one of the discards, place it face down on the chosen boot. Counts as 1 action.
SPECIAL LETTERS
Young wine
Bottle any wine or cava without spending stars (you need grapes and time to spare)
Chopped wine Place on an opponent's boot: Blocks adding grapes, time, and bottling. It is removed automatically after 4 turns of the affected player, or with a winemaker card
Oenologist/Oenologist
Remove the mulled wine card from any player's boot
Vintage
Reveal as many cards in the deck as there are players; each player chooses 1 card (the player who plays it chooses first)
Evaporation
Remove 1 grape card from an opponent's boot (not if only 1 is left). The wine cannot be bottled until the grapes have rested
Steal time
Steal 1 time card from an opponent's boot and place it into a crafting boot of yours
Steal letter
Randomly choose 1 card from another player's hand and add it to your hand

Some wines give a profit at the time of bottling.

Draw 1 card from the market
Black
You can use any card in your hand as a time card
White Cava
Retrieve 1 Time card and 1 Grape card from the Bottled Boot and put them into your hand
Rosé Cava
You have an extra turn
