Setup
Choose 10 Kingdom cards from the available supply and place them in the center of the table.
Each player starts with a 10-card deck: 7 Coppers and 3 Estates.
Set up the Treasure and Victory card piles next to the Kingdom cards.
Shuffle your starting deck and draw 5 cards for your first hand.
TURN STRUCTURE
Each turn has three phases: Action, Buy, and Cleanup.
ACTION PHASE
Action
Play up to 1 action card from your hand (played cards may grant additional actions)
Buy
Spend your Coins to buy 1 card from any available pile
Cleanup
Discard your hand and played cards, then draw 5 new cards
KINGDOM CARDS
Kingdom cards grant extra actions, coins, buys, or special powers
When 3 piles run out or the Province pile empties, the game ends immediately
DECK CYCLE
When your deck runs out, shuffle your discard pile to form a new one
Victory conditions
- Victory points
- The player with the most victory points in their deck at the end of the game wins
