Setup

  • Place the center board in the middle of the table and put all the chips in the bag. Shuffle the animal cards and place 5 face up as a supply

  • Each player takes their personal board and a help card

  • Fill the center board with tokens from the bag until you have 5 groups of 3 tokens available.

  • (Optional) With the Nature Spirits variant, each player chooses one of the two spirit cards they receive at random

Rules

  1. 1

Each player does two things on their turn. First, select a group of 3 tiles from the central board and place them on your personal board.

  2. 2

Tiles can be placed in empty spaces or stacked on top of existing tiles to create trees, mountains or buildings. He can then optionally take an animal card from the supply (up to 4 cards) or place an animal cube on any completed pattern that matches one of his cards.

  3. 3

Once the player takes their chips, the center board is refilled from the bag.

Victory conditions

  • The game ends when there are no tiles left to fill the center board, or when any player has 2 or fewer empty spaces on their board. The round ends and the points are counted.

  • Each type of terrain scores differently: trees (green tile on brown) are worth 1, 3 or 7 points depending on height; mountains (adjacent gray) are worth 1, 3 or 7 points; fields (groups of 2+ connected yellow tiles) are worth 5 points; buildings (red tile on gray, red or brown) are worth 5 points if they are surrounded by at least 3 different colors. Points are added for completed animal cards.

  • Whoever has the most points wins.
