Setup

  • Each player receives a cloth bag with their starting chips: 3 white chips worth 1 and 4 white chips worth 2.

  • Each player unfolds their personal cauldron (cooking circle) and places their marker at position 0.

  • Set up the ingredients available at the central market: vary the assortment by player count and round.

  • Randomly determine the starting player.

ROUND STRUCTURE

  • Each round is divided into two phases: brewing and market.

BREWING PHASE

  • All players brew simultaneously: draw chips from the bag one by one and place them in a spiral in your cauldron

  • You may stop voluntarily at any time to secure what you have achieved

  • If you dare to keep going, continue drawing until you decide to stop or your potion explodes

EXPLOSION LIMIT

  • If the total value of white chips in your cauldron exceeds 7, your potion explodes

  • Upon explosion, you may score OR buy ingredients, but not both

INGREDIENT EFFECTS

  • Each chip color has a special power: orange chips advance your marker, green chips revive chips, etc.

MARKET PHASE

  • With earned coins, buy new chips to add to your bag and make it more powerful

RAT
