Spirit Island

Spirit Island

You are the ancestral spirits of an island fighting to survive against waves of colonizers who fell forests, found towns and expand relentlessly. Each spirit has a unique power; the island's salvation depends on how you combine them.

Setup

  • Place the island board in the center and divide it into territories.

  • Each player chooses a spirit and takes their board, starting power cards and presence tokens.

  • Place initial explorers, towns and cities as indicated by the chosen difficulty card.

  • Divide the invader deck into three piles (stages I, II and III).

  • Prepare the fear deck and the terror track.

Power cards

Each player plays the cards they want to use that round

Fast actions

INVASION PHASE

FEAR AND TERROR

  • When a territory accumulates enough destruction, fear is generated.

  • Fear advances the terror track and may unlock new victory conditions.

Victory conditions

The team wins by fulfilling the victory condition linked to the current terror level: total elimination of invaders, expulsion or surrender of colonizers. The team loses if the invader deck runs out without winning, if the blight track reaches its maximum, or if any spirit is completely destroyed.
