Setup

  • Separate the cards by age (I, II, III).

  • Shuffle each deck separately.

  • Deal 7 Age I cards to each player.

  • Place the wonder card in front of each player with side A or B face up.

  • Give each player 3 starting coins.

  • Place the coin bank and conflict tokens in the center.

  • Leftover cards from each Age are removed without looking at them.

  • Begin with Age I.

Rules

  1. 1

Each player receives a wonder board and starting resources; the goal is to build the most powerful civilization across 3 ages.

  2. 2

Each age: everyone picks 1 card from their hand and plays it simultaneously, then passes the rest to their neighbor.

  3. 3

You can build the structure (paying resources), advance your wonder, or discard the card for 3 coins.

  4. 4

At the end of each age, military conflicts are resolved with neighbors; those with more shields win, the others lose.

  5. 5

After 3 ages, add up science, commerce, civic, guild, wonder and military points; whoever has the most wins.

Victory conditions

  • At the end of Age III, each player counts their victory points. The player with the most wins. In case of a tie, the player with the most coins wins.

  • Points are counted in this order:

  • Military conflicts: Add your victory tokens and subtract your defeat tokens (-1 per defeat).

  • Coins: 1 point for every 3 coins you have (leftover coins don't count).

  • Wonder: Each built stage grants the points shown on your wonder card.

  • Blue cards (civic buildings): Each card grants the points shown on it.

  • Yellow cards (commerce): Some yellow cards grant victory points.

  • Green cards (science): Score for matching symbols (tablets: n², gears: n², compasses: n²) and for sets of 3 different symbols (7 points per complete set).

  • Purple cards (guilds): Each card scores based on buildings built by you and/or your neighbors, as indicated on the card.
