Inspired by Portuguese azulejos, decorate the king's palace with the perfect combination of coloured tiles. Easy to learn, hard to master — and impossible to take your turn without thinking twice.

Setup
Give each player a mosaic board
Fill factory displays with 4 random tiles each (2 displays per player + 1)
Put all tiles in the bag and mix
Oldest player goes first
Rules
- 1
The active player takes all tiles of one colour from a factory display or the centre
- 2
Tiles not taken from the centre form the centre pool; the first player to take from it receives the first-player marker (–1 point)
- 3
Place the taken tiles on one of your 5 pattern lines
- 4
Only one colour per line; excess tiles go to the floor (penalty)
- 5
At end of round, completed pattern lines move to the mosaic wall and score for adjacencies
- 6
Game ends when someone completes a horizontal row on their mosaic
Victory conditions
Most points wins
Bonuses: +2 per complete horizontal row, +7 per complete column, +10 per complete colour on the mosaic
