Setup
Place the starting piece in the center of the table, face up.
Each player takes 7 meeples of their color and places 1 on the score board, at position 0.
Shuffle all the remaining territory pieces face down and form a pool accessible to everyone.
Rules
In turn, steal a piece of territory from the reserve and place it adjacent to the already existing ones, respecting the continuity of roads, cities and meadows.
Optionally, place one of your meeples on the newly placed territory: on a road (thief), a city (knight), a cloister (monk), or a meadow (farmer). You can only place a meeple if the item you place it on doesn't already contain another meeple.
An item is considered complete when it is completely enclosed: cities and complete paths are scored immediately and meeples are returned to their owners.
Unfinished meadows and cloisters are scored at the end of the game.
Victory conditions
The player with the most points when all territory pieces are used up wins.
Incomplete cities and roads are worth half, cloisters score adjacent tiles, and meadows score points for each adjacent complete city.
