Setup

  • Place the fashion board in the center of the table with the season tile in the first square and the 5 legendary dragon tiles in place.

  • Deal 3 Island tiles to each player (choose the face they want to play for each island) and place them in front of them.

  • Give each player 5 points in visitor tokens and 1 reminder card.

  • Shuffle the 60 transparent Dragon cards and deal 4 cards to each player; leave the rest as a draw deck.

GOAL

  • Manage a dragon park: get dragons of all species and colors, attract as many visitors as possible and don't forget to feed them. Whoever has the most visitors after 3 seasons wins.

STRUCTURE OF THE GAME

  • The game is played in 3 seasons. Each season has two phases: card placement and scoring.

PLACEMENT PHASE (DRAFT)

  • Each player has 4 Dragon cards in their hand. Simultaneously, everyone chooses 1 card and places it face down; once everyone has chosen it, they place it on one of their 3 islands with the illustration face up (it can be added on top of an already placed card, covering it completely or partially). Then each player passes the remainder of their hand to the player on their left and receives the hand of the player on their right. The process is repeated until 3 cards have been placed; the fourth remaining card is discarded.

EFFECTS OF PLACING A LETTER

Birth

If you place a dragon on an egg, a new dragon is born and you gain 2 visitors instantly

Raging Dragon

If you cover (fully or partially) a raging dragon (with red eye) with any other card, you instantly lose 1 visitor

SCORE AT THE END OF THE SEASON

Blue Dragon

The player (or players) with the most blue dragons visible on their islands wins 3 visitors

Yellow Dragon

The player (or players) with the most yellow dragons visible wins a legendary dragon token, which they place on the island with the most different species

Fashion Dragon

Each player gains 2 visitors for each fashionable dragon of this season (purple, green or red, as indicated by the board) they have visible in their park

Diversity by island

Each island adds visitors according to the number of different dragon species visible (up to 6 counting legendary), by checking the reminder card

Food

Count the total number of dragons and lambs visible in your park; each dragon eats 1 lamb, and for each dragon that runs out of lamb to eat, you lose 1 visitor

BETWEEN SEASONS

  • Cards placed in previous seasons remain in place. Advance the season tile to the next fashion board square and deal 4 new Dragon cards to each player.
