Setup

  • Arrange the 30 terrain tiles in a 5×6 grid at the center of the table.

  • Randomly distribute 3 meeples from each of the 5 tribes (Assassins, Elders, Merchants, Builders, and Djinns) across the tiles so each tile has exactly 3 meeples.

  • Place Djinn cards, commodity cards, and gold coins within reach of all players.

  • Players receive their scoring markers. Turn order is determined by an opening bidding round.

Rules

  • Each turn starts with a bidding phase to set turn order: players bid gold coins for position — paying more grants priority but costs resources.

  • The active player picks up all meeples from one tile and drops them one by one on adjacent tiles in any direction until they run out.

  • The last meeple dropped triggers its tribe's ability on that tile: Assassins remove meeples from the board, Elders score points, Merchants give commodities, Builders grant gold, and Djinns let you take a Djinn card.

  • If the final tile is left empty of meeples, the player claims control and scores points for its terrain type.

Victory conditions

  • The game ends when no player can make a valid move or all camels have been placed. Points are tallied from: controlled tiles, Djinn cards, commodity sets, Elder meeples, and accumulated gold. The player with the most total points wins.
