Setup
Arrange the 30 terrain tiles in a 5×6 grid at the center of the table.
Randomly distribute 3 meeples from each of the 5 tribes (Assassins, Elders, Merchants, Builders, and Djinns) across the tiles so each tile has exactly 3 meeples.
Place Djinn cards, commodity cards, and gold coins within reach of all players.
Players receive their scoring markers. Turn order is determined by an opening bidding round.
Rules
Each turn starts with a bidding phase to set turn order: players bid gold coins for position — paying more grants priority but costs resources.
The active player picks up all meeples from one tile and drops them one by one on adjacent tiles in any direction until they run out.
The last meeple dropped triggers its tribe's ability on that tile: Assassins remove meeples from the board, Elders score points, Merchants give commodities, Builders grant gold, and Djinns let you take a Djinn card.
If the final tile is left empty of meeples, the player claims control and scores points for its terrain type.
Victory conditions
The game ends when no player can make a valid move or all camels have been placed. Points are tallied from: controlled tiles, Djinn cards, commodity sets, Elder meeples, and accumulated gold. The player with the most total points wins.
