Setup
Each player takes their Colony board, 30 Population tokens, 4 apples, 4 money and 4 Action chits.
Deal 4 starting Building cards to each player and place them on their board.
Build the shared event deck with 4 Work cards, 2 Trouble cards and 2 Twist cards on top.
Leave the resource supplies and remaining card piles within everyone's reach.
TURN STRUCTURE
Each round a card is revealed from the shared deck, determining the action available to all players simultaneously.

Gain new cards
Build
Add a new building to your board
Restock
Refill your buildings' slots
TROUBLE CARDS
They add permanent negative events to the shared deck: hunger, breakdowns, blackouts, leaks and other disasters that complicate future rounds.

The game ends when a player runs out of population or the event deck runs out.
