Choose your favorite fighter from the Mortal Kombat X universe and defeat your rival by combining moves, combos and fatalities in a tactical miniatures combat game.

Setup
Each player chooses a fighter and places their miniature on their side of the combat board.
Each player prepares their combat card deck and draws their starting hand.
Place each fighter's life and stamina markers at their starting values.
Randomly determine who takes the first turn.
TURN STRUCTURE
Players alternate activating their fighter until one of them runs out of life.
MOVEMENT
Movement
Move your miniature around the board to position yourself for attack or evasion
Combat zone
The distance between fighters determines which attacks you can execute
COMBAT
Attack
Play an attack card from your hand and apply the indicated damage to your rival
Combo
Chain several consecutive attack cards to multiply the damage
Block
Play a defense card to reduce or negate incoming damage
STAMINA
Attacks and combos spend stamina; without stamina you cannot execute powerful actions
Stamina partially recovers at the end of each round
FATALITY
When your rival is below 20% life, you may attempt a Fatality if you have the required cards
Victory conditions
- Victorious
- The player who reduces the rival fighter's life to zero wins
- Fatality
- Instant victory by executing a Fatality with the required cards
