Rebirth

Lead your clan and rebuild Scotland by placing tiles to control castles, cathedrals and farms.

Place the board in the center. For the first game use the face Scotland (basic); the Ireland face is advanced mode

Each player takes their set of tiles (food farms, energy farms and settlements) of their color and places them in their personal bag. Take 1 tile at random to have in your hand
Each player receives their wooden castle and cathedral pieces
Shuffle the mission cards and place them face down next to the board. The youngest player starts

Rules

Each turn is very simple: place the tile in your hand on an empty space on the board, score immediately, and steal a new tile from your bag for the next turn. GryphGra

Tiles are placed following their terrain rules: food farms in agricultural spaces, energy farms in energy spaces, and settlements in residential districts. The castle, cathedral and water areas do not accept tiles.

When you place a tile adjacent to an empty castle, you place your castle piece on it (you are the first to claim it). If an opponent accumulates more tiles adjacent to the same castle, they keep the piece and control. When you place your first tile adjacent to a cathedral, you place your piece on it and draw a secret mission card. Completing it at the end of the game gives you the indicated points.

Points are scored immediately upon placing each tile. When placing a farm, you gain 1 point for each tile in the group you just created or expanded (including the new one). For settlements, districts score when completely filled: small district (1 space) scores according to influence; middle district (2 spaces) gives 5 pts to the first and 3 pts to the second; large district (3 spaces) gives 8 pts to the first and 5 pts to the second.
The game ends when all players have placed all their tiles. Castles are then scored (5 points per castle controlled) and secret missions completed. Whoever has the most points wins.
