Setup
Unfold the main panel in the center of the table
Assemble the 3 cardboard bridges and distribute the 15 dice to their spaces (mixed, but without a single color occupying an entire space)
Each player takes his personal board and places his workers (gardeners, courtiers and warriors) in the corresponding spaces
Deal the opening cards: an action card in the personal board and a resource card in the lantern area
Set the turn order on the initiative marker. The last player to choose starting cards chooses first
Rules
Cada jugador fa 3 torns per ronda. Al seu torn:
Agafa un dau d'un dels 3 ponts, només dels extrems (esquerra o dreta, mai del mig)
Si el dau ve de l'extrem esquerre, actives els teus premis de llanterna
Col·loca el dau en un espai d'acció: si el valor és menor que l'espai pagues la diferència en monedes; si és major, la cobres
Executa l'acció segons el color del dau:
Coral → Cortesà: paga 2 monedes per enviar un cortesà a la porta del castell, i/o paga 2 o 5 perles per pujar-lo 1 o 2 nivells. En pujar, agafa la carta de la sala i afegeix-la al teu tauler
Negre → Jardiner: paga menjar per col·locar un jardiner en una carta de jardí lliure (màx. 1 per carta). S'activa en col·locar-lo i torna a activar-se al final de cada ronda si hi ha daus al pont de sobre
Blanc → Guerrer: paga ferro per col·locar un guerrer en un pati d'entrenament i obtens el benefici indicat
Al final de les rondes 1 i 2, els jardiners amb daus al pont de sobre generen ingressos addicionals.
Victory conditions
After 3 rounds (9 turns per player), points are scored: the courtiers give points according to the position they occupy inside the castle; warriors multiply the number of courtiers you have in the castle (not at the gate); the gardeners give the fixed value of their letter; leftover resources are converted into points; and the position on the influence track gives final points.
Warriors score nothing if you have no courtiers inside the castle. Whoever has the most points wins.
