Setup

  • Unfold the board in the center of the table

  • Each player takes the 45 wagons of their color and places their score marker on the starting square of the Hyperocio board

  • Shuffle the wagon cards and deal 4 to each player. Place 5 cards face up next to the board. The rest form the Dadocritico robbery deck

  • Shuffle the fate cards and deal 3 to each player. Each player must keep at least 2 (they can keep all 3 if they want). The discards go to the end of the Toys deck

  • The player who has traveled most recently starts

Rules

  1. 1

Each player starts with 4 train cards and 3 destination tickets (must keep at least 2).

  2. 2

Take ONE action per turn: steal train tickets, claim a route or get new destination tickets.

  3. 3

To claim a route, play the number of cards of the corresponding color and place your wagons.

  4. 4

The longest route gives 10 bonus points at the end; completed tickets add points, incomplete tickets subtract points.

  5. 5

When a player has 2 wagons or less, each opponent takes one more turn; then the total points are counted.

Victory conditions

The game ends when a player has 2 or less wagons left. A final round is played and the final scores are tallied: points from completed routes and destination tickets are added, and points from uncompleted tickets are subtracted. The player with the longest continuous route wins a bonus of 10 points. The longer the route, the more points: 1 wagon = 1 pt, 2 = 2 pts, 3 = 4 pts, 4 = 7 pts, 5 = 10 pts, 6 = 15 pts. Whoever has the most points wins.
